CCHMC’s first annual Research Symposium will be May 5th. Amber will be presenting her poster, “Defining cell-specific epithelial response to influenza infection in lung alveolar organoids” during the 2nd poster session. Andrea will also have her poster “Alveolar epithelial progenitor cells drive lung regeneration via dynamic changes in chromatin topography modulated by lineage-specific Nkx2-1 activity” hung up in absentia post-defense.

Andrea Toth's Thesis Defense

Andrea Toth is scheduled to defend her thesis, titled “A Multi-System Approach to Define Regulatory Mechanisms of Alveolar Progenitors in Development, Disease, and Regeneration” on April 13th at 1 PM. Her defense is open to the public (in person and Zoom), so please come out and support her. Congratulations on this massive achievement, Andrea!
